  • Built-in blower features a dynamically-balanced, vibration-isolated motorized impeller and speed control
  • Bag-in/bag-out ULPA filter disposal system allows for safe filter replacement (requires certified technician)
  • Built-in Guardian Airflow Monitor, installed right above the sash for comfortable viewing, immediately notifies users of unsafe airflow
  • Pressure gauge, mounted on the face of the hood, allows users to monitor filter loading and determine the need for replacement
  • Smooth, crevice-free stainless steel work surface with rounded corners offers easy clean-up
  • Negative pressure plenum (surrounding the positive pressure impeller) captures unfiltered air in the event of a leak
  • Aerodynamic foils around the sash opening reduce turbulence near the edges, providing additional protection for operators
  • Exhaust ULPA filters are 99.999% efficient on particles 0.12 micron
  • Ergonomic sash is made of ¼"-thick tempered safety glass and can pivot upwards for cleaning purposes.
  • ULPA filters can be easily scanned for leaks by opening the top of the upper housing
  • Rear interior baffle can be easily removed for cleaning
  • Fluorescent light fixture is mounted behind the sash to reduce glare
  • Deep interior can accommodate large analytical balances
  • Separate power switches for blower and fluorescent light are provided for convenience
  • Two utility ports are located in the back corners of the hood for equipment power cords
