The Micro Cleaning Solution by Arrayit successfully reduces surface tension for increased cavitation. After ten years of research and development, Arrayit has developed the Micro Cleaning Solution, a powerful cleaner that restores the capillarity of microarray pins by removing surface deposits at the atomic level. Highly concentrated with a 20X potency, this solution is ideal for use in ultrasonic and megasonic cleaning applications.

The Micro Cleaning Solution at 1X concentration cleans microarray pins at the atomic level. A sonic transducer forms acoustic waves up to the microarray pin and produces cavitation bubbles that deliver a cleaning force to the pins and other types of high-precision instruments.

Short Protocol for Arrayit Micro Cleaning Solution
  • Prepare a 1 liter solution of 1X Micro Cleaning Solution
  • Dilute 50 ml of 20X MCS into 950 ml distilled water
  • Place prepared solution in a sonicator
  • Place instruments or microarray pins into sonicator
  • Sonicate pins and instruments for 10 minutes
  • Rinse very thoroughly with tap water
  • Sonicate for another five minutes in distilled water (dH2O) to remove residual solution
  • Dry pins with Microarray Air Jet
