Weighing
Practum will weigh everything from chunks of solids to the finest quantities of pastes, powders, and liquids with incomparable weighing reliability. A high resolution, overload-protected weigh cells ensure durability and reliability. Magnetic substances and extra-large volumes are easy to weigh accurately using the weighing port.
Density Determination
The Density Determination function easily and accurately determines the density of a solid object requires optional density kit, available separately.
Percentage for Determining Differences
This function will do the math to determine how much different samples vary from a reference standard.
Check weighing
Practum can be used to check whether different objects, such as packaged units, are within a specific tolerance range.
Peak Hold Function
The peak hold function will retain the peak value for display after weighing when a bulky sample covers the display or when a maximum force is quickly released.
Counting
Using Practum to count identical items (such as screws or tablets) is easier, faster, and more accurate than manual counting.
Unstable Conditions
Practum provides accurate readings under unstable environmental conditions, such as vibration or laminar flow, or when weighing moving laboratory animals.
Accurate leveling helps ensure repeatable weighing results
An easy-to-read glass level indicator with an air bubble for centering and two easily-adjustable extra-large leveling feet help ensure accurate leveling to achieve repeatable weighing results.
Fast and easy data transfer via Mini USB to Microsoft® Excel
Transfer weighing data directly into Microsoft® Excel without additional software. Supported data transfer protocols are SBI, xBPI, table format, and text format.
Interval-controlled documentation of weights automatically and reliably
The Practum will document weight changes automatically and reliably, such as slow-filling processes, with programmable, interval-controlled data output.
