Full suite of Life-Science Methods
A full suite of stored methods include DNA, RNA and Oligonucleotide calculations, protein assays such as direct UV measurement, BCA, Biuret, Bradford, Lowry and cell density measurement. Unlike many dedicated life-science spectrophotometers, the LAMBDA BIO+ can also measures absorbance or concentration at any wavelength, providing flexibility to address future applications.
Additionally the LAMBDA Bio+ features rapid scanning, kinetics and concentration modes of operation to broaden the range of available applications. In kinetics mode, absorbance vs. time may be plotted, along with the δA/min, and the correlation coefficient to a rate of reaction by automatically multiplying by a factor.
Flexible reporting and data storage options
All results may be printed to an integrated high quality printer for a permanent record. The LAMBDA Bio+ has a USB port for connection to a PC. Data may be rapidly transferred and printed out using the print utility and software and cable, which are included with the LAMBDA Bio+, and are also available as an option for the LAMBDA Bio. Printing and storing data via SD flash memory card or Bluetooth connection module is also available as an options for the LAMBDA Bio+.
